Getting there
By Road
From London, take the A1(M) north, follow the signs for the Angel of the North then Gateshead town centre. From town centre follow local signs for Gateshead quayside.
From North of Newcastle, take the A1(M) and A167(M) south and then follow local signs for Gateshead quayside.
By Train
Three hours direct from London Kings Cross. Trains also go direct from Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow and York. From Newcastle Central Station, it takes about fifteen minutes to walk to the BALTIC on Gateshead quayside. The bright yellow Quaylink buses also run every 10 minutes and go directly there.
By Coach
Coaches run from London Central bus stations and most UK cities to Newcastle. Coach drop off point is next to the BALTIC on the South Shore Road.
By Air
One-hour flight direct from London Heathrow or London Gatwick to Newcastle International Airport, flying with BA.
